A few weeks ago I was invited to the FiTMAPPED and Athleta event at Exceed Fitness where I took a phenomenal TRX class, and subsequently became even more obsessed with TRX.
As someone who absolutely loves finding new fitness studios and fun, different ways to cross train, I was excited to learn about FiTMAPPED, (check out my overview here) a resource that makes finding the perfect workout really simple! It’s a free website and iPhone app with a complete database of all the fitness options in NYC (and as of recently, LA)! You can also read reviews and get information on gyms, studios, classes, recreation centers and more, and book right from the website! The best part? You can target exactly what you want by searching by neighborhood, price range and activity type. Busy New Yorkers will LOVE this!

And now, I’m excited to announce, I’m officially a FiTMAPPED Fit Rep!
What does this mean? The goal is to help Manhattanites make health more of a priority in daily life by bringing awareness to new fitness venues that best suit their schedules and interests. I’ll get to try out some studios and new workouts and share my thoughts with you guys! FiTMAPPED also posts recaps of NYC fitness deals on their blog each week – this week includes a great round-up of deals with everything from yoga to spinning to personal training.
