I feel like you totally GET me, haha.

When I want to work out early I’ll do the exact same thing…just lay in bed and scroll through Twitter to see everyone out there getting after it. Makes me feel lazy and therefore more motivated, haha. Same with the accountability thing. I often think of my blog readers when I’m doing a harder workout and I’m like, well, if I’m going to share the details on this run I really should put more effort into it, haha.

I hate the “crazy” and “obsessed” comments. I like to think of it as “dedicated” instead :) And plus I’m definitely good at balance!

But I never tell people that’s my plan. I totally should start doing that because I 100% agree it’s valid. If they don’t like it…too bad. Haha. Anyway I’m going to email you, I want an update on your life in general :)

I feel the same way sometimes. Like, I have to announce it or people might think I’m just being lazy. Thank you so much for the kind words – if I can inspire anyone just a little bit, that’s all I can ask for!

Thank you so much for the kind words. You truly inspire me too and I wish we could still run together. My last half marathon wasn’t the same without you!

I love seeing your CrossFit posts and reading your thoughtful reflections about running – especially your most recent post about taking a break when needed. I’ve definitely felt that in the past and a little “reset” totally worked :)

xoxo

So great and so true. It’s very uplifting when people leave positive comments (and leaving them for my friends makes me happy too!) It only encourages me to do more and be better. I guess I just need to learn to ignore the negative ones!

Same with reading about people training for a worthy cause. I’m always thrilled to see those posts. I think we all could use a dose of inspiration like that :)

I didn’t join for awhile because I was like, well, WHY would I want to talk about random stuff with friends when I can just text them? But now I definitely see the power of it :)

I’m so glad you started a blog because you’ve inspired me so much! I love reading about all your adventures!

I don’t have separate social media accounts for my blog either, but I guess if my focus in my profiles is fitness-related, then I may as well post that kind of stuff. I’m the same way as you about Instagram for sure; if I’m going to follow a random fitness-focused person or blogger, I’ll scroll through their photos first to make sure they are fitness-y. If I don’t know them in real life, I don’t necessarily want to see pictures of their family and friends! (Which sounds mean, but you know what I mean, haha). Thanks so much for the comment :)

People post tons of different content- that’s what social media is all about – so I might as well post what I want, especially since it really is a positive thing. I’m feeling better and better about it now :) Thanks so much, Amy!!
