Spinning Workout

Hope my friends here in the northeast (well, everywhere else too!) are cozy and warm throughout this snow storm. Luckily my office closed a little early today. (Although that just means I did my stupid-long commute for basically no reason…but I digress.)

Walking in this was not super enjoyable.

After a slightly treacherous drive home from work, I made it back to NJ and am currently snuggled up in my most comfy down comforter and am hanging out with Brendan, drinking a glass of wine, and reading Runner’s World magazine. Um…can every day PLEASE be like this?!

The only sad thing is that I had to cancel my scheduled strength training class at SoHo Strength Lab, so I needed to come up with something I could do at home. I’m still sore from some heavy weight lifting and my return to yoga on Sunday, and after a 6 mile run yesterday (Outdoors! Are you proud?) I’m pumped for some time on the bike trainer. Here’s my snow day spinning workout:

Apparently I’m just full of workout ideas this week. (That, or I’m addicted to PicMonkey.) As always, feedback is welcome. (PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME YOU ACTUALLY READ THIS.)

Do you have a snow day? What are you doing? Have any favorite indoor workouts?

I love spinning/cycling workouts! It’s totally weird, but as much as I love running, this winter I’ve been kind of craving some cycling action. I’ll have to use this the next time I hop on a bike :)

I have been too! It’s such a great workout and I love the energy it gives you…especially if you’re in a room full of people with upbeat music playing! Let me know if you ever want to go to a class together :)
